Embracing Alberami’s vision in 2021, our 12-hectare olive haven in Erchie is thriving. With an estimated €9,500 increase in revenue, we’re not only enriching our land but also paving the way for a better future. The generation and sale of carbon credits offer a brilliant model for making sustainability economically viable.
It’s truly remarkable to see the tangible results of sustainable practices and carbon sequestration efforts. Joining Alberami has revolutionized our 40-hectare farm. In just one year, we’ve seen an estimated income boost of €13,500, proving that sustainability and profitability can go hand in hand.
This project not only addresses climate change but also ensures that farmers are rewarded for their crucial role. Our 188-hectare estate in S. Pancrazio has flourished since partnering with Alberami in 2022, with a forecasted profit surge to €29,000. This collaboration underscores our commitment to eco-sustainable agriculture.
This all starts with us and with small changes. I understand people will think ‘Well I’m only one person’, but only when we all start to chip in can a small difference combine to create meaningful change. Anyone who is in a position to make a difference, has to make a difference. Because what other choice have we got?
Participating in this carbon farming project has been an incredibly rewarding experience. It stands as a beacon of hope and a practical model for environmental stewardship in the face of climate challenges. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking to make a positive impact on our planet and support sustainable agriculture.
