With Green Humbug, we will try to clarify the classic “lies or misconceptions about environmental sustainability” through the analysis of scientific data, regulations, and national and international reports. Today’s appointment is dedicated to the theme of regenerative agriculture.
Regenerative agriculture represents an excellent solution to mitigate the environmental impacts associated with the sector and to protect biodiversity. However, most farmers do not start procedures for creating regenerative systems because they are hindered by various types of barriers. The main obstacle to the advent of regenerative agriculture is the fear of a decline in yields and profits. But is this really the case? Is regenerative agriculture convenient or not for farmers?
